Seacoast Repertory Theatre and Let's "B" Reel are proud to announce that their award winning Red Light series will be presenting a screening of the cult horror comedy classic Army of Darkness October 21st, 7:30pm. This particular screening will be a part benefit for the Portsmouth Halloween Parade. Let's "B" reel will be collecting donations for the Halloween Parade following the screening, and will offer interactive ways to donate during the screening. An interactive pre-show will be provided by Timothy Fife and Bunny Wonderland.

"We (Tim Fife) and I have always loved the PHP. After our smashing success with last year's partnership, we were eager to kick it up a notch this year with one BIG cult film fan favorite" Says Knate Higgins, The Special Series Curator for at The Rep. "Plus, we always want to give back whenever we can"

Army of Darkness is the 1992 Horror Comedy starring cult film star Bruce Campbell. The film gained notoriety as the third installment of the ever popular, Evil Dead Trilogy. Considered the silliest (and most produced) of the three films, Army of Darkness soon found a mass audience appeal after its midnight run on Showtime during the mid 90's. Combing time travel, demonic possession, and a myriad of one liners, Army of Darkness continues to draw huge crowds to this day.

"We've always wanted to tap into the Evil Dead pool, as Knate and I are both huge fans" says Tim Fife, co-director of the Red Light series. "We debated which film to screen, but the folks at PHP all agreed Army of Darkness was the winner, and one that we are extremely happy with.
