The Seacoast Repertory Theatre (Bow St., Portsmouth) announced the launch of its new website today.

Visitors can learn about The Rep’s mission, membership levels, make donations, buy individual event tickets and become a season ticket holder. The site also provides up to date information about The Rep in the news, upcoming events, awards and even video. Consistent with the burgeoning role of social media, access to The Rep’s blog, Facebook page and Twitter feed are also accessible by visitors so you’ll always be in the know.

The site was made possible through the generosity of CatchFire Creative, a local web development firm located on Market Street in Portsmouth. CatchFire partners Seth Hoffman and Drew Schulthess teamed with Rep staff to design and build the new site over the past few months, launching it to the public at the opening of The Rep’s season opening production of Ain’t Misbehavin’, a Fats Waller revue running through April 15. “We were thrilled to connect and work with The Rep on this project.” said CatchFire Creative Partner Seth Hoffman. “We are all about community involvement, giving back, and believe that our business will grow as we help other local organizations to be successful.”

CatchFire Creative is also a sponsor for the theatre’s full season.

The new website is one important component of The Rep’s strategic initiative to expand its visibility and grow its member base. “Ticket sales are, of course critical, but represent only a bit over 60% of the revenue needed to fully fund the theatre and its many quality programs,” staTed Craig Faulkner, Artistic Director of The Rep. “We also need people committed to support through membership and corporate underwriting. CatchFire stepped up to help us in so many ways and we are extremely grateful for their support. They are truly a model for collaboration in our community.”
