Event Description: "Let's do a musical!" is the cry from the members of the school drama club. The problem is, which one? This common dilemma is solved by the appearance of an old theatrical trunk filled with the memorabilia of early show business days, such as some George M. Cohan props: his derby straw hat and cane and a script of 45 Minutes from Broadway. Miss Templeton, the teacher, and Jason, the student director, guide the cast through the auditions and casting and presentation of the old Cohan musical. This is an example of a show within a show, complete with such rousing George M. Cohan numbers as "I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy," "Give My Regards to Broadway" and "You're a Grand Old Flag."

Event: The Ever After
Dates: July 25 & 26, 2010
Time: Sat. & Sun. at 11:30am
Price: $8 - $10
Tickets: Online: www.seacoastrep.org Box Office: 603-433-4472
Event Description: Is Ever After really as happy as everyone expected? In a hilarious parody of daytime TV, the host wonders if time truly heals all wounds. She invites Cinderella and her middle-aged "beauty-impaired" stepsisters to reconcile with each other after being estranged for 20 years. What about Snow White and the Evil Queen? This hysterical fractured fairy tale has it all: a trash-talking clairvoyant mirror, an unfortunate prince who is turning slowly back into a frog and even Jiminy Cricket-now an occupational therapist and author of the book "My Life as Your Conscience". The musical is punctuated by questions from obnoxious studio audience members and ridiculously funny infomercials for fairy tale related products, such as the Practical Princess Crown (which doubles as a purse and makeup case). Get ready for some knee-slapping and hand-clapping with great foot-tapping songs!

Event: All Shook Up!
Dates: July 30 - August 29, 2010
Time: Thurs. at 7:30pm, Fri. at 8pm, Sat. at 2pm & 8pm, Sun. at 2pm

Tickets: Online: www.seacoastrep.org Box Office: 603-433-4472
Event Description: Shakespeare meets James Dean, set to the music of Elvis Presley! The Rep is proud to present the Portsmouth premiere of the 2005 Broadway hit. A mysterious stranger motorcycling stranger comes to a small Midwestern town and changes it forever. The dancing is incredible, the humor is irresistible, and the Elvis songs - "Hound Dog," "Can't Help Falling in Love," "Heartbreak Hotel" and "All Shook Up," of course, to name only a few - are immortal!

Event: Robin Hood
Dates: August 8 & 9, 2009

Tickets: Online: www.seacoastrep.org Box Office: 603-433-4472
Event Description: Robin Hood is the outlaw of Sherwood Forest leading a merry life with his followers. Anyone needing a place to live or food to eat is welcome in the greenwood. Impoverished citizens led by Robin are waging a battle against the evil Prince John. He has taken the place of King Richard the Lion-Hearted, who has gone on a crusade. Lady Merle of Cornwall, however, hopes to make John more acceptable to the people of England by forcing Maid Marian, Robin's childhood sweetheart, to marry the Prince. It's up to Robin to stop the marriage, defeat a nasty sheriff and secure Nottingham for the King's return.
