Seacoast Rep and Let's 'B' Reel to Kick Off 'Red Light' Series with THE GOONIES, 1/23

Seacoast Repertory Theatre and Let's "B" Reel are proud to announce that their award winning Red Light series will be kicking off their 2015 Let's "B" Reel Season with The Goonies January 23rd, 2015 at 8:00PM.

In addition to screening the 80's kids cult classic, Let's "B" Reel will once again be partnering with Dorks and Dungeons for their highly anticipated pre-show. Plus, this particular screening of will revive the "Quote-A-Long" night, allowing and encouraging the audience to chime and say their favorite lines along with the film.

"We knew right away that we wanted to open this season with a bang" says Timothy Fife, co-director of Let's "B" Reel. "(Goonies) is always a crowd pleaser, and we are psyched to bring the pre-show and screening to life with so many awesome people.

The Goonies is a 1985 kids adventure film, turned cult in the more recent years. On the last day of before their homes are taken away from them by a large developer, 7 teens known as "The Goonies" chase after a local treasure in hopes to save their homes and families. Full of pirates, villains, booby traps, and high adventure, The Goonies has delighted and tickled audiences for close to 30 years. The film also is known for it's hilarious and easily quotable dialogue.

"I thought intergrating the "Quote-A-Long" feature was smart for this screening too." Says Knate Higgins, special series curator for The Rep. "It has worked brilliantly at our past screenings and Goonies is chock full of quotable lines. The audiences LOVE to be vocal."

Let's "B" Reel presents The Goonies runs one night only January 23rd at 8:00pm. Bar is open at 7:00pm.Advance tickets are $10, and day of show tickets are pay what you want.
