Seacoast Rep Theatre Welcomes Red Sky Mary 1/27

Seacoast Rep Theatre brings in local rock band Red Sky Mary in an attempt to use the theatre for a music venue. The Rep has been a haven for theatre goers on the seacoast, with a prime location at 125 Bow Street. The Rep reached out to members of the rock band Red Sky Mary to headline The Reps first ever rock concert in an attempt to showcase the theatre as a music venue for local musicians and performers.

Red Sky Mary are winners of the 2011 Spotlight awards for “Best New Act” and “Favorite Artist”. Comprised of Sam Vlasich on vocals, Tom Boisse on guitar, Mike Klempa on bass, and Barret Goeman on drums, “Red Sky Mary embodies the union of vintage swagger with a reinvigorated interpretation of hard rock”. Based out of Portsmouth, Red Sky Mary peaked The Rep’s creative teams interest at the 2011 Spotlight awards where the band played a tribute to the late Ronnie James Dio.

Joining Red Sky Mary will be One Hand Free . “One Hand Free is everything you and expect from a real rock band” One Hand Free is made up of Andrew Blowen on Vocals /Keyboards, Geoff Taylor on Bass, Josh DiJoseph on Guitar/Engineering , and John Santatelli on Drums. They can be heard on over 100 radio stations worldwide both traditional and internet.

Red Sky Mary will be headlining at Seacoast Rep Theatre (with special guests One Hand Free) Friday, January 27th 2012 at 8pm. Tickets are $15 and general admission. Tickets may be purchased online at Seacoastrep.org, at The Rep Box Office at 125 Bow Street, and over the phone at 603.433.4472
