The outrageous and risqué cult phenomenon The Rocky Horror Show - Live! That has played to sold out audiences for years returns to the Seacoast Repertory Theatre (the Rep) on Friday and Saturday nights at midnight in August.
A science fiction "B" movie that comes alive, The Rocky Horror Show - LIVE! is unquestionably more of an event than a performance. As the audience, dressed up in outrageous clothing shouts out responses to the dialogue, a weird and wacky story unfolds.
"Audiences are going to see a brand new show - new costumes, new actors (many are now new Rep favorites) and a re-visited and re-imagined concept that will blow away the masses." said the show's Director/Choreographer Johnnie Pironi. "Rocky is something I have been doing at the Rep for a while, and have always had ideas as to how I would like to see it. I am very grateful I have been given the opportunity, not only as a "Rocky vet" but as a new director to realize my vision and share it with the most amazing Rep audiences night to night
The Rocky Horror Show - LIVE! plays at midnight on the Rep stage Fridays and Saturdays, Aug. 5 - 27, 2011. All tickets are general admission and are $20. Advanced reservations are suggested. To purchase tickets call 603.433.4472, visit
