Peterborough Players present the Tragical-Comical-Historical play, WITTENBERG.

University of Wittenberg, October 1517. Hamlet, his mentor John Faustus, and Faustus' colleague and Hamlet's instructor and priest, Martin Luther, all collide in a brilliant theatrical construction by playwright David Davalos. A smart, sprightly, and audacious battle of wits, the play brings us the story behind the stories in a highly entertaining and accessible exploration of reason versus faith.

Wittenberg features Jeremy Beck, Chris Mixon, Tom Frey and Sara Kennedy. Directed by Keith Stevens. Rated PG-13.

The sixth of seven Main Stage shows that the Players will produce during their 13-week Summer Season, Wittenberg by David Davalos plays August 30 - September 10 and is sponsored by TD Bank.

Performances are Wednesday-Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 8:00pm, Sundays at 4:00pm. The Players is also pleased to present an additional matinee performance on Tuesdays at 2:00pm. There are Talkbacks with the cast following the first Friday and Sunday performances and a Cabaret following the performances on Saturdays.

Single tickets are $39 and a 6-ticket flex pass can be purchased for $204. Subscriptions are also available. All options are on sale now.
