Palace Theatre Hosts 3rd Annual Wine Tasting

The Palace Theatre of Manchester, New Hampshire is celebrating the opening of their 2009-2010 Citizens Bank Performing Arts Series with their 3rd Annual Wine Tasting & Live Auction Event at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester. The cast of "Forever Plaid", the musical that will be playing at the Palace Theatre September 18-October 3, will provide entertainment for the evening.

Wine from around the world will be available, as well as hors d'oeuvres from several area restaurants: Commercial Street Fishery, 900 Degrees, Firefly, Ignite Bar & Grille, The Saffron Bistro, The Sugar Mommy, Tidewater Catering Group, Two Friends Café and UnWine'd. Items available for bidding at the Live Auction this year will include VIP packages for a Red Sox and a Celtics game, including a limo ride to/from Boston, a one week stay in a two-bedroom suite at the incredible Sheraton Vistana Resort in Orlando, FL and a wild "Girls Night Out" for 20 tickets to "The Full Monty", use of the reception room before the show which includes a catered dinner, and your own private bartender!

This year's event is presented in collaboration with the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission. The Wine Tasting, which serves as a major fundraiser for the non-profit performance theatre, is sponsored by: Fairpoint Communications; Jacques Flowers and Harvest Market.

The Palace Theatre 3rd Annual Wine Tasting & Live Auction Event will be September 24th, from 6-9 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Manchester. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $45 or at the door for $50.
