New Hampshire Theatre Project is the proud recipient of four different grants this fall, totaling over $30,000. The NH State Council on the Arts, with funding support from the National Endowment for the Arts, has awarded NHTP a two-year Public Value Partnership Grant, which includes $9,100 of operating support for both 2017 and 2018. NHTP has also been awarded a $5,000 Community Project Grant from the NH Charitable Foundation to fund consultant Ann Hopkins of Mather Associates, who is assisting NHTP in planning a capital campaign to purchase the West End Studio Theatre.

NHTP's new Elephant-in-the-Room Series has received a $6,000 grant from NH Humanities and $5,000 from the Seacoast Women's Giving Circle. This series of playreadings and public dialogue about issues we aren't comfortable discussing, will premiere on Thursday, November 16 with Body & Sold by Deborah Fortson, a play about human trafficking and sexual abuse, in collaboration with HAVEN.
