Shakespeare meets Reality TV! New Hampshire Theatre Project's 2012-13 Season comes to a close with Shakespeare's quirky comedy Two Gentlemen of Verona - with a twist!! A lesser-known work by the Bard, this classic is full of vapid, self-obsessed young people without any discernible occupation or ambition other than relationships, money, and leisure... Sound familiar? Think "The Real Housewives of Verona," "Verona Shore" or "37121" (that's one of Verona's zip codes...). NHTP's Youth Repertory Company of 13-18 year olds weave together Shakespeare's original words, a few new scenes written by the Repertory Company, and video media produced with PPMtv.

With direction by Genevieve Aichele and Robin Fowler, lighting & scenic design by Meghann Beauchamp and costume design by Lindsey Nelson, NHTP's production of Two Gentlemen of Verona is bound to be a totally awesome extravaganza! Opening May 17 and running Fridays and Saturday at 7pm, Sundays at 2pm, through May 26. Two Gentlemen of Verona is generously sponsored by Sarah Haskell & Ben Fowler, Avery Insurance Agency, People's United Bank, Ristorante Massimo, and Flatbread Company. We hope you'll join us at the theatre!
