Kids Theatre Camp (ages 6-9)

Now in its fourteenth year, KTC features creative drama, movement, and visual arts activities while bringing stories from page to stage. Campers meet Monday to Friday, 9am to Noon, with final performances at 10 am and 11:30 am on Saturday. Limited to 20 campers.
Teen Theatre Camp (ages 13-17)
Dates: July 7-19, 2014
Time: July 7-11, 1-4pm; July 14-18, 10 am-4pm
Fee: $500 (Deposit $150)

This incredibly popular camp will focus on Alternative History this year - creating and adapting characters from real life history and classic literature. Participants will learn acting skills, along with vocal & physical techniques, and improvisation. Past Teen Camps have featured, Vaudeville, Classic Comedy, Sherlock Holmes, Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Dumas' The Three Musketeers. Campers meet from 1-4 pm in the first week, and from 10 am to 4 pm in the second week. Final performances will be presented Friday, July 18 at 7 pm, and Saturday, July 19 at 2 pm & 7 pm. Limited to 20 campers.
Story Theatre Camp (ages 8-12)

NHTP's premiere camp has been a favorite of seacoast children for 19 years. The theme of Story Theatre Camp 2014 is Around the World in 60 Minutes, featuring myths and stories from many different cultures. Activities include acting, writing, movement, visual arts and music with an emphasis on ensemble performances based on children's literature and original writing by participants. Campers meet Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, with final performances on Friday, August 1 at 7 pm, and Saturday, August 2 at 11am and 1 pm. Limited to 20 campers.
Strafford Summer Arts - World Tales (ages 8-12)
Dates: August 4-8, 2014
Time: 9am to 3pm
Fee: $300 ($250 for residents of Strafford, NH)
Directors: Genevieve Aichele, Randy Armstrong & Rachel Vilandre
Held at Strafford School for almost 20 years, this popular camp features immersion in theatre, music and visual arts. Campers perform scripts, play music, and create sets & costumes in stories from many different cultures. Final performance on Friday, August 8, 6:30 pm at Strafford School. (NOTE: This camp is NOT held at West End Studio Theatre).
