National Theatre's CORIOLANUS to Screen at Peterborough Players This Weekend

The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen 2015-2016 Series announces the screening of London's National Theatre production of William Shakespeare's most controversial play, CORIOLANUS. An encore presentation will be presented in HD at the Peterborough Players on Sunday, February 7th at 1pm.

CORIOLANUS is Shakespeare's searing tragedy of political manipulation and revenge, Coriolanus features an Evening Standard Award-winning performance from Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, War Horse (film), BBC's The Hollow Crown) in the title role, directed by the Donmar Warehouse's Artistic Director Josie Rourke. When an old adversary threatens Rome, the city calls once more on her hero and defender: Coriolanus.

The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen series is presented in stunning NEC high definition digital projection and incomparable Dolby Surround Sound. This is third year the National Theatre Live series has been presented at the Peterborough Players.

CORIOLANUS tickets are $20 each. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 603-924-7585 or online at PlayersTix.com. Students (with proper ID) can purchase tickets (at the box office) for $15. The Players accepts MasterCard, Visa or American Express. The Peterborough Players Theatre is located at 55 Hadley Road in Peterborough, New Hampshire, approximately 80 miles from Boston.
