New Hampshire Theatre Project's 30th Anniversary Season continues in 2019 with All in the Timing, David Ives' witty, romantic and absurd exploration of language and time. The production is made up of six short "playlets" that play with themes both familiar and ridiculous, and has been hailed as enchanting, perplexing, incisively intelligent and side-splittingly funny.
Director Blair Hundertmark says, "Ives ingeniously explores language, time and relationships by whipping them together in a cosmic comic blender. The six scenes range broadly and been called offbeat, poetic, witty, satirical, surreal, and touching, but above all- funny! Ives is a master of language, and in this play he effortlessly and smartly weaves together a fresh look at relationships both realistic (meeting in a cafe) and not so realistic (monkeys typing in a research cage)." Hundertmark adds, "I saw the original production in New York 25 years ago, and I recall being spellbound by the brilliant writing and comic talent. It was legitimately the hottest ticket in town. And it still holds up."
All in the Timing stars Adam LaFramboise, Crystal Lisbon, Bretton Reis and Jennifer Towle. Along with director Blair Hundertmark, the design team includes Tomer Oz (Set & Lighting Design), CJ Lewis (Sound Design), Mary Selvoski (Costume Design), Mary Langley (Stage Manager) and Katherine Allen (Asst. Stage Manager).
Sponsors for All in the Timing are Pam & James Patrick Kelly, Emilie Spaulding, and Wheelabrator Technologies.
