The three Garza brothers from San Angelo, Texas (Henry, Jojo and Ringo) play a style they dub Texican Rock n' Roll, combining elements of blues, rock, soul, country and Tejano. Los Lonely Boys soared to national attention with their debut album, winning a Grammy for their global hit, "Heaven." The trio is known for its electrifying, yearning, heartfelt music and has recorded with legends, Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana and Los Lobos.
Also playing this evening is Alejandro Escovedo, who infuses lyrical Tex-Mex and folk balladry with rock and classical influences. In a career marked by critical acclaim for music that places him "in a genre all his own," (Rolling Stone Magazine), Escovedo has journeyed through several musical incarnations in his 20-plus-year career from punk rock (The Nuns) to a solo career, culminating with Real Animal, which appeared on many Top Ten lists.
The Los Lonely Boys are at the Palace Theatre on October 14th. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Palace Theatre box office at 603-668-5588 or online at www.palacetheatre.org. Tickets are just $39 and are on sale now!
