Thanks to funding from the Lincoln Financial Foundation, Pontine Theatre is bringing its original stage adaptation of Nathaniel Hawthorne's THE HOUSE OF THE SEVEN GABLES to eight New Hampshire assisted living facilities. The tour kicked off May 22 with a performance in Lebanon followed by an appearance in Peterborough on May 23. On May 29, Pontine performs at Birch Hill Terrace in Manchester and Birch Heights in Derry. May 31, the company travels to Woodcrest Village in New London. On June 9 a performance will be offered at Isle at Ledgewood in Miilford and on June 12 at Heritage Heights in Concord. The final performance of the tour to assisted living facilities takes place June 27 at the Senior Center in Littleton. Pontine's Spring Tour also includes an additional performance of THE HOUSE OF THE SEVEN GABLES at 6:30pm on June 22 at the Lane Library in Hampton.
Thanks to funding from the New Hampshire Humanities Council, Pontine will bring its original "Humanties To Go" program, FAMILIAR FIELDS: THE POWER OF COMMMUNITY IN THE WORK OF SARAH ORNE JEWETT, to four New Hampshire communities: June 4 at 6:30 at the Hall Library in Northfield NH, June 5 at 7pm at the Keene Library in Keene, June 7 at 7pm at the Peterborough Library in Peterborough, and June 26 at 7pm at the Hampton Falls Library.
