Entrees and Encores Productions to Present New Actors' Readings This Month

Entrees and Encores Productions announced today that they will return this month to the Sunflowers Restaurant in Jaffrey, NH and the Waterhouse Restaurant in Peterborough, NH with new readings from acclaimed authors.

Last month Entrees and Encores debuted at the same restaurants with holiday themed readings. Both performances were met with great enthusiasm from the audiences as well as the restaurants' management.

Entrees and Encores returns Wednesday, January 14th to Sunflowers Cafe on Main Street in Jaffrey with readings from George Bernard Shaw as well as acclaimed new and old playwrights. On Wednesday, January 28th, The Waterhouse restaurant in Peterborough has readings from Tennessee Williams with additional work from other noted authors. Once again, each restaurant provides a sumptuous 3-course gourmet meal that precedes each performance.

Actors within the Entrees and Encores company include professional and non-professionals from the region as well as New York and Boston. Many have performed at Peterborough Players.

"We knew we had a unique idea that people from the region would appreciate. We want to present interesting and stimulating plays, poetry, essays and more," stated Lisa Bostnar, founder (and actor), of Entrees and Encores. She added, "We are very lucky to have two phenomenal restaurant partners that provide the atmosphere and savory culinary experience. Finally, we are blessed with some of the best acting talent out there."

Tickets for each performance are priced at $55.00. The price includes dinner, tax, gratuities and the performance. Reservations are highly recommended due to limited seating. Entrees and Encores Productions is an independent theatre production organization based in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. It began in 2014 and its goal is to present old and new writings from well-known and up-and-coming authors to the Monadnock Region. The readings are always combined with interesting and sumptuous cuisine. Two performances will be scheduled each month from October through May.
