What is Cirque du Soleil?
Founded in Quebec in 1984, Cirque du Soleil was based on a totally new concept - a striking, dramatic mix of the circus arts and street entertainment, featuring wild, outrageous costumes, staged under magical lighting, and set to original music. Employing more than 2000 people, including approximately 600 performers from all corners of the globe, CDS shows have been seen by more than 30 million people. CDS is dedicated to entertaining, uplifting and enlightening audiences the world over. Cirque du Soleil-Totem, will be performing in Concord, NC from February 28th - March 27, 2011.
How and why is Adecco involved with CDS?Since 1999 Adecco has serviced the staffing needs of
Cirque du Soleil during their performances across the country. This means that when a traveling
Cirque du Soleil show arrives in a US city, the local Adecco offices in that city are responsible for staffing the event.
What kinds of jobs are available?-Merchandising Sales

The salaries for these positions are set per position, please ask your Adecco Representative for the pay rate for the position you are interested. Prior experience is helpful for all positions.

What are the requirements for the jobs with CDS?§ You MUST be over the age of 18
§ Have documentation proving your eligibility to work in the United States
§ You must be able to commit to working evening and/or weekend hours for the shows duration as well as work 30-40 hours per week.
§ You must be able to provide your own transportation to and from the work site, arriving to work on time daily
§ You MUST attend an Orientation Session and On-Site Training (details to follow)
What are the next steps for me to get the job with at CDS?The first step would be to complete the online application (see instructions below). 1) During the week of the February 14, 2011 Adecco will be hosting an Orientation for
Cirque du Soleil.
2) If selected, an on-site training session will be scheduled for 2/23/11 for Back of the House positions and 2/28/11 for Front of the House positions
3) Opening night of Totem is March 3, 2011
