"Maybe far away, or maybe real nearby.."

Happily, Leddy Center's production of Strouse and Charnin's Tony Award-winning musical, ANNIE, falls into the "nearby" category on two counts: the start date is July 7, and the location is Leddy Center's beautiful air-conditioned, fully handicapped accessible theater at Verdant Pastures on Ladd's Lane off Route 27 in Epping, NH. Route 27 is accessible from both Route 125 and Route 101 in Epping.

Directed by Elaine Gatchell with musical direction by J. Bruce Gatchell, this production of ANNIE is guaranteed to please with its phenomenal cast lineup.

Ten-year-old Cassidy Green of Nottingham is our delightfully talented Annie who will win hearts young and old with her performance. Rob Dionne of Manchester is the powerful billionaire, Daddy Warbucks, (having made his billions on war profits), and Ashley Bush from Epping is the lovely Grace Farrell. Deirdre Bridge is the formidable orphan mistress, Miss Hannigan, Nick Kalantzakos, Jr. of N. Andover, MA is the ruthless, sleazy Rooster, and Melissa Ransdell is Lily St. Regis. Daisy McMahon of Exeter is reprising her role of 6 years ago as our wonderful "Sandy", and Bruce Gatchell will be portraying President Roosevelt, complete with a wooden wheelchair of that era.

Ace/Ben Franklin of Raymond and Core Physicians sponsor this wonderful Broadway musical for the whole family at Leddy Center, celebrating its 43rd year of presenting major musicals, dramas, concerts, and lessons and classes in the performing arts for its greater communities. ANNIE is also partially sponsored by NHPTV and Seacoast Coca-Cola Bottling Company.

Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm and Sundays and two Wednesdays at 2:00 pm, July 7 through-July 23. Tickets are $20. Call Leddy Center box office at 603-679-2781, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, or go online to purchase tickets at leddycenter.org.

Leddy Center is celebrating its 43rd Season of bringing Broadway musicals and classic drama to our greater communities as a non-profit 501c3 NH Arts and Education Organization.
