-"Bah, humbug!" is the cry from Ebenezer Scrooge, as he ushers in the holiday season in "A Christmas Carol", at Leddy Center's beautiful theater on Ladd's Lane in Epping. Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" is tradition at Leddy Center and promises to make everyone's Christmas a lot more meaningful for the watching. Heading up an all-star cast, this is Steve Koch's tenth season as Scrooge at Leddy Center. Jane Button is Mrs. Crachit and Dr. Henry Ferrell returns as Mr. Crachit, Sophie Jordan is Martha Crachit, Mark Deyo is Scrooge's nephew, Fred, and Kathy Anzalone is the Ghost of Christmas Past. Damian Raymond is Marley's ghost. Don LaDuke returns as the Ghost of Christmas Present, Beth Gauthier as Fred's wife, Mary, Kevin Murphy and Stephanie Johnson as Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig, and Perry Gouin is Tiny Tim. Scenes will be ushered in by an acappella quartet and soloists. Musicians include, Jane Button, Beth Gauthier, David McMullen, Craig Johnson, Nen Horan, and Spencer Gregory.
Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:00pm, today, December 5 through December 14. There is one Wednesday matinee at 2:00pm on December 10.
