Krabat is a great narrative ballet based on a Slavic legend about the boy Krabat, which touches on the threshold of adulthood with black magic and there becomes fascinated by. In the version of the Czech National Ballet's story is a parable about both the resilience of love and the human soul, and over mature. It is the story of thousands of young people from the slums of Rio de Janeiro to the refugees from Syria who have lost their families in terrible situations and fall into the hands of people who are bad with their have. A "coming of age story" about a boy and a girl, who ultimately take responsibility for their own lives.
This show is dark, dynamic and visually overwhelming, shows a different perspective on dance and is beautifully framed by the enchanting music of Zbynek Mateju. The story will not only adults, but also appeal to young people. An epic modern ballet Czech National Ballet. This renowned company in Prague has both classical and modern dance repertoire. Since attracting choreographer Petr Zuska has grown into a multifaceted internationally recognized company. In the Netherlands, the Czech National Ballet exclusively seen in the South Beach Theater.
