Stage Actor Ralf Mackenbach Clinches Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009

Ralf Mackenbach, who played little 'Tarzan' in the Dutch edition of this musical, has clinched the Junior Eurovision song contest 2009 which was held in Kiev, Ukrainian.

He wrote the winning song, Click Clack', about his hobby tapdancing, himself. The second place went to Russia. Mackenbach, a 14-year old actor, has starred in 'Tarzan', 'Beauty and the Beast', as well as TV commercials.

In 1956, the first ever Eurovision Song Contest took place. It took 47 years before the first ever Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place and in 2007, the third member of the Eurovision Family of Events was launched; the Eurovision Dance Contest.
