ON YOUR FEET! Dutch Production To Begin Previews October 18

The Dutch production of ON YOUR FEET! is scheduled to start previews on October 18, with an official opening date set for October 29, at the Beatrix Theater in Utrecht. The Broadway production of ON YOUR FEET! opened in 2015 and received a Tony Award nomination for Best Choreography. It is set to close on August 20, with a US national tour to open in September.

ON YOUR FEET! is a jukebox musical following the life of the 26-time Grammy Award-winning husband and wife team Gloria and Emilio Estefan. The show chronicles Gloria's life, from her childhood to her international success as a singer and songwriter.

The Dutch production of ON YOUR FEET! will be the first production of the show outside America, and is produced by Stage Entertainment.

Listed here is the full cast- Vajèn Van Den Bosch as Gloria Estefan, Jim Bakkum and Tommie Christiaan as Emilio Estefan, Nurlaila Karim as Gloria Fajardo, Ellen Evers as Consuelo, and Paul Donkers as Phil. The ensemble includes Giammarco Corado, Donielle David, Natascha Dejong, Jamie Dors, Joey Von Grumbkow, Frank Van Hengel, Samantha Klots, Rick McDonald, Clayton Rosa, Edgar Sagarra Portuondo, Shanna Slaap, Margot Weeda, Ruben Kuppens (swing), and Aswintha Vermeulen (swing).

Music, lyrics, and orchestrations by Gloria and Emilio Estefan, book by Alexander Dinelaris, original broadway direction by Jerry Mitchell, choreography by Sergio Trujillo, set design by David Rockwell, costume design by Emilio Sosa, light design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by SCK Sound Design, dance arrangements and orchestrations by Oscar Hernández, additional orchestration by Jorge Casa and Clay Ostwald, and translation by Allard Bloom.
