Stage Entertainment in the Netherlands has issued a casting call for a Dutch version of JERSEY BOYS, the hit musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Directed by Des McAnuff, JERSEY BOYS will open in the Beatrix Theatre Utrecht in September 2013.

To cast the role of Frankie Valli, an open casting call has been opened on LetItCast.com, where hopefuls can upload movie clips in order to be considered for further casting sessions.

The show, featuring hit songs such as 'Beggin', 'Oh, What a Night', 'Can't Take My Eyes Of You', 'Sherry' and 'Big Girls Don't Cry', opened on Broadway to critical acclaim in 2005. It won prestigious awards, including the 2006 Tony Award and 2009 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical. It is unknown to what extend the libretto will be translated into Dutch.

Stage Entertainment is also involved in the Las Vegas production of JERSEY BOYS as Associate Producer.
