Armada Music has joined forces with German record label Planet Love Records. Next to new projects like the upcoming York album, Planet Love will also start the digital release of their back catalogue, including classics by Taucher, York and DJ Sakin & Friends. On December 19th the first, new track, ‘York ft BranDon Jones - Wanna Be Known‘, will be released.

Planet Love Records, known for its legendary classics, was founded in 1992 by Torsten Stenzel. As one of the early adaptors of the upcoming trance, house and techno movement, the label grew out to be a realm for those in search of quality dance releases. Stenzel, known for his production work on projects like York, Taucher, DJ Sakin & Friends and Suspicious, has sold over 3 million records and made 10 Gold and Platinum Awards with his sales. As one of the pioneers in trance music, he released most of his work on Planet Love Records, to be licensed by majors like Universal, Positiva and Ministry of Sound later.

Stenzel:"We won't only be focusing on new releases, since we also want to make the classic releases available in a good quality. There are many fans out there requesting them. "The first of the classic releases includes the ´York - Best of Collection‘ album, set for December 2nd. For the first new project, ‘York ft BranDon Jones - Wanna Be Known‘, Armada Music and FXpansion set up a remix-competition, with the winning remix being featured on one of the upcoming compilations.

Both Armada Music and Planet Love Records are looking forward to working together.
