The national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will celebrate the closing of its 4th season on the road on Sunday, June 28. Inspired by the electrifying true story of four rock 'n' roll icons, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET played over 60 cities in the last year from Anchorage and Oklahoma City to St. Louis and Buffalo, and will conclude at Vienna, VA's beautiful outdoor venue, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.
A new touring company of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will kick off with a six week engagement at Broadway Palm in Ft. Myers, FL on Thursday, October 1. The tour will continue to more than 40 cities throughout the 2015-2016 season, including Phoenix, AZ (The Orpheum Theatre); Sarasota, FL (Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall); Birmingham, AL (BJCC Concert Hall); and Eugene, OR (Hult Center). Additional cities will be announced at a later date.
The legendary rock 'n' roll icons of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET continue to electrify audiences in Chicago and Las Vegas. Following its sold-out, limited engagement at the Goodman's Owen Theatre in Chicago, the production moved to the Apollo Theatre on November 5, 2008. Still rocking to packed houses at the Apollo Theatre, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is the longest-running Broadway musical in Chicago. Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW) President and CEO Steve Spiegel announced the acquisition of exclusive representation of stage performance rights for MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. "Brilliantly crafted with a famous rock & roll score that delivers, it will be immensely popular in our marketplace," says Spiegel about the show, which he calls an "incredibly engaging, riveting musical." MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET joins TRW's major licensing assets including JERSEY BOYS and MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT. TRW's Vice President of Professional and International Licensing, Sean Cercone is working with a number of high profile regional theatres for flagship productions of the show.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET had its world premiere at Florida's Seaside Music Theatre, and was subsequently staged at the Village Theatre in Seattle, WA, breaking box office records.
When the Broadway production opened in April 2010, critics and audiences leapt to their feet in unanimous praise. The New York Times called the show, "a buoyant new musical that whips the crowd into a frenzy," New York Magazine labeled it, "a dazzling raucous spectacle that sounds like a million bucks," and NY1 called it, "90 minutes of platinum grade entertainment." The musical continued its successful New York engagement Off-Broadway at New World Stages through June 2012. In 2011, the West End production played at the Noël Coward Theatre in London.
