Bravo Creative Arts opens its 18th Season of outstanding children's theatre with one of the most beloved musicals of all time,The Wizard of Oz!
In this classic tale, Dorothy (Mia Blaise Campbell) dreams of a land "somewhere over the rainbow." Dorothy's dream comes true when she, Toto, and her house are transported by a tornado to a bright and magical world unlike anything she has seen before. Unfortunately, she makes a mortal enemy of The Wicked Witch of the West! Befriended by colorful Munchkins, Glinda the Good, a Scarecrow without a brain, a Tin Man with no heart and a Cowardly Lion--and protected by a pair of enchanted ruby slippers--Dorothy sets off along a yellow brick road for the Emerald City to beseech the all-powerful Wizard of Oz for his help to return home.
Bravo's production is sure to dazzle with colorful costumes, high energy dance, a timeless score, and the beloved story that reminds us "there's no place like home."
