What is your life worth? What happens when your teenaged son goes out after dark? Or you call your father because your car breaks down on the highway at night? Or when you are mistaken for someone else simply because of the color of your skin?
Somebody's Baby – a raw, unflinching look at the lives of five African American women dealing with the loss of family members to police violence – speaks to the realities bruising our current society. Through the intertwined lives of these women, we learn about family, love, truth, pain, hope, and the American experience. 
With devastatingly powerful performances by Vida Finley, Sherry Collier-Reid, Oni Woods, Lakissha Taylor and Laneese Cosby and featuring original music composed by Thomas Werth, directed by April Hardcastle-Miles, and produced by LM LeSure. Mic Rex's latest play forces us to recognize that we are all connected to each other; that the news story isn't about just another Black teenager or an unnamed victim. They all have names – we all are Somebody's Baby.
