Broadway Theatre League is sharing a very fun event coming up soon - The Tennessee Valley's First Early Music Festival, presented by Valley Conservatory, today, September 6 - 8 at First Christian Church on Whitesburg.

This will be the first Early Music Festival held in the Tennessee Valley area. The 3 day festival will feature various instrumental and vocal performers including guest artist/clinicians, Gesa Kordes, Dr. Don Fader, Claire Rottembourg, Kevin Lay and Jared Hauser. Dr. B. Renee Collins-Williams is the director of The Valley Conservatory Early Music Festival.

The festival will include sessions on early music performance practices, ornamentation and figured bass. Other events of the festival will include Saturday and Sunday concerts and open rehearsals for the public on Friday.
