A versatile entertainer who sold millions of records during his time as lead singer of country music super group Little Texas, Tim Rushlow is a master song interpreter with a deep, abiding love for the classics. During the band's impressive run in the '90's, he and the rest of the Little Texas members charted over a dozen hits including "God Blessed Texas" and the multi-genre crossover smash "What Might Have Been." Following the band's breakup, Tim embarked upon a solo career with Atlantic Records and released a self-titled CD that yielded the heartwarming Top Ten hit "She Misses Him," about a couple's touching battle with Alzheimer's. Following a few more endeavors in musical groups and pairings, in 2009 Tim decided to refocus his energies on honing his performing skills as a solo act, launching a well-received acoustic tour at smaller listening rooms around the country. The challenge of engaging audiences and laying his emotions bare on the stage in front of intimate crowds night after night fired up Tim's creativity to a new level and renewed his love for the classic sounds he grew up listening to and first cut his musical teeth on like Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Dean Martin, and Andy Williams. And the experience soon inspired him to take his career in a whole new direction as the modern-day crooner he had always envisioned himself to be.

The design and layout of the club is very eclectic, warm and cozy, and very "New York City meets New Orleans" vibe, similar to Smalls jazz club in New York City, and many other intimate listening room style jazz clubs throughout the world. Think late night, dark, warm, intimate, eclectic, fine food and drinks and most of all fine jazz. With the assistance of renowned acoustic designer Michael Cronin, the listening room is being built with great attention to acoustics, combined with a beautiful Steinway Model B grand piano. With a love of jazz and desire to be able to have similar experiences of his favorite jazz clubs in New York City, co-owner Adam Charney was inspired to create an authentic jazz club experience in Nashville. Having grown up in Nashville, and being intimately familiar with the growing music scene and the void of a true jazz club that has grown increasingly obvious over the years, it became apparent to Adam that he and longtime friend Michael Braden should make it happen. Chef and co-owner Braden heads up the kitchen serving some of New Orleans finest cuisine. Born in New Orleans, and raised on his family's rich history of creole cuisine, Michael soaked up the culinary experiences offered in the city, and eventually ventured into his own successful culinary endeavor. Now heading up the kitchen at Rudy's Jazz Room, be prepared to experience authentic New Orleans cuisine right here in Nashville. Located in the popular Gulch area, Rudy's Jazz Room is centrally located, while offering a unique experience rivaled by no other club in Nashville, combining jazz seven nights a week with an intimate environment, fine cuisine and exquisite drinks.
