Cori Anne Laemmel's Theater Bug troupe will unveil its latest summer show-a musical adaptation of Robert Munch's book The Paper Bag Princess-as well as its new location, beginning Friday, June 29 and continuing through July 8.

The Theatre Bug's production of The Paper Bag Princess will be performed at 2038A Greenwood Avenue in East Nashville (located next to Family Wash).

"The Theater Bug's summer show is getting ready to open a week from Friday," Laemmel explains. "We are in our new theater space in east Nashville, which was supposed to just be a summer long thing, but it looks like we may now be building out a theater inside and becoming the full time lessors!"

To make that happen, the community will need to show its support and pitch in to help make The Theater Bug, which last summer presented the original play The Most Amazing Anything of Evertime at The Larry Keeton Theatre in Donelson.

The Paper Bag Princess, "a new musical based on the book by Robert Munch," features music by Eric Fritsch and Cori Anne Laemmel, and a book by Laemmel.

Performances are Friday, June 29, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, June 30, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Sunday, July 1 at 2 p.m. Shows will resume on Friday, July 6 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, July 7 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Sunday, July 8 at 2 p.m.

Described as "a very un-princess princess story, sure to be fun for the whole family," tickets for The Paper Bag Princess are $10 for adults, $5 for children and are available at the door or at www.ticketsnashville.com.
