Tennessee Repertory closes its 29th season of live, professional theatre with Stephen Sondheim's multiple Tony Award-winning musical Company. Company runs March 22 - April 12 at TPAC's Johnson Theater (with preview performances today, March 20 - 21).

The clashing sounds and pulsing rhythms of New York City underscore the landmark musical Company, considered by many to have inaugurated the modern era of musical theatre. On his 35th birthday, Bobby-a commitment-phobic bachelor-searches for the answers to love and life in New York City. While enjoying the company of some lovely ladies, he observes both the joys and pitfalls of marriage from his five quirky couple friends - but is he ready? Only Bobby can find the answer in this witty and piercing examination of matrimony. For how else can you treat marriage, but as a comedy?

Tennessee Rep favorite Patrick Waller stars in the lead role of Bobby. The production also features an all-star cast that celebrates Tennessee Rep's past, present, and future. Included among the cast are Nancy Allen, Jeff Boyet, David Compton, Galen Fott, Melissa Hammans, Mia Rose Lynne, Laura Matula, Megan Murphy-Chambers, Shelean Newman, Chris Simonsen, J. Karen Thomas, Martha Wilkinson, and Garris Wimmer.
