TPAC continues the fun and educational wine, spirits and beer tasting series, sponsored by Brown-Forman and the Lipman companies, with "The Art of Cordials."
"The Art of Cordials" takes place on Tuesday, December 7, at 6:00 p.m. inside the historic War Memorial Auditorium and will feature samples poured of Southern Comfort, Tuaca and Chambord. In addition to tasting and evaluation of each Cordial, there will be a demonstration of how to make holiday cocktails with all three.
The tasting experience will be led by Tim Laird, America's CEO Chief Entertaining Officer, an authority on wines and spirits with more than 20 years in the hospitality industry. Laird is a connoisseur of fine wines, spirits, and champagnes as well as a veteran of television and radio appearing on "The Tonight Show," CNN, Fox News Network and CNBC. He is also the author of That's Entertaining with Tim Laird.During the two-hour tasting, Laird will discuss the history of cocktails; how to take the stress out of holiday entertaining; and using cordials to make easy, fun and great tasting holiday cocktails. A book signing will take place following the tasting.
Held on Tuesdays or Thursdays in TPAC's historic War Memorial Auditorium, The Art of series is the perfect way to learn more about wine, spirits and beer in a casual, non-intimidating environment.
