C.S. Lewis' classic The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe will be presented by David Lipscomb University Theatre as its spring children's production, April 21-23.
Audiences are urged to join members of DLU theatre to celebrate Easter weekend with C.S. Lewis' classic allegorical tale of the resurrection story set in the land of Narnia. This dramatization faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the gentle lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventure of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia.
C.S. Lewis is among the most celebrated Christian authors, and the books that make up The Chronicles of Narnia, including The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, have always been among his most popular works.
Performances will be in Collins Alumni Auditorium April 21-23 at 6:30 p.m. and April 23 at 2:30 p.m. Cost is $15 for the public, $10 for university faculty and $5 for students. Tickets are available through the Lipscomb University Box Office at (615) 966.7075 or through Ticketmaster.
