Street Theatre Company, which was forced to cancel its final two performances of THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE due to the flooding in Middle Tennessee, announces that it is able to bring back the show for one additional weekend. Performances will be held, Friday, May 21st at 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 22nd at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Proceeds from the Saturday matinee performance will go to flood victims.
The Tony-winning THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE is about the angst of six quirky middle school students (played by adults) vying to win a spelling championship. A hilarious tale about the adolescent traumas everyone undergoes, this musical comedy is sure to draw audience members in to all the drama they thought they left back in middle school.
Tickets are $15 and $13 with a third ticket for $3 for every two tickets purchased together. Tickets are available at www.streettheatrecompany.org or by calling 615-554-7414. Performances will be held at 1120 Elm Hill Pike, just off the Fessler's Lane exit of I-24/40E.
