Twelve Angry Men, Pull-Tight Theatre's next mainstage production, has a deceptively simple plot. Twelve men are locked in the jury room of an urban courthouse and must decide the guilt or innocence of a young man accused of murdering his father. Each man brings to the proceedings his own history, values, and prejudice. The playwright, Sherman L. Sergel, explores the process of how this particular jury comes to a decision and what role each juror plays in the verdict. Please join us for this powerful and thought-provoking drama.

A mix of newcomers and familiar faces, the cast includes Nelson Bryan (Foreman), Bill Jones (Juror #2), Paul Cox (Juror #3), Mark Slagle (Juror #4), Jeremy Hargis (Juror #5), Mark Hyssong (Juror #6), Wade Woodruff (Juror #7), Clay Hillwig (Juror #8), Jerry Henderson (Juror #9), Rodney Pickel (Juror #10), Aaron Adler (Juror #11), Tom Naughton (Juror #12) and W. Preston Crook as the Guard.

The members of the crew are Beth Woodruff (Director), Lynda Gibbs (Producer), Steven Steele (Technical Director), Daryle Tallent (Assistant Director), Ricki Keckley (Stage Manager), Anne Rittenberry (Costume Coordinator), Laurel Aiello and Teresa Jones (Costume Crew), Sarah Woodruff (Props), Carol Brown (Lighting Execution), Jeanne Drone (Photography), Mark Price (Artwork), and Roz Highfill (Door Coordinator).

Let's Prelude: "12 Angry Men:
The Role of the Jury in the American Justice System"

Pull-Tight members and the general public are invited to the second in this season's Prelude series on Sunday, October 18, at 2pm at the theatre.

Woody Woodruff, local attorney, author, and board member, will host a panel discussion featuring Vanessa Bryan, Williamson County Public Defender, and other members of the Franklin legal community, on "12 Angry Men: The Role of the Jury in the American Justice System."

The cast of Twelve Angry Men will open the Prelude with a brief scene from the show, followed by the panel, then questions and discussion with the audience. The Prelude should last approximately one hour.

Admission and refreshments are free, and Pull-Tight members and the general public are invited.

Pull-Tight's Prelude Series offers audiences a broader understanding of each Pull-Tight Main Season show by exploring an interesting aspect of the show with an expert. Preludes have served both as an introduction to Pull-Tight and our shows and as educational outreach to our community.
