Orchard Street Productions invites the public to audition for the world premiere of My Catskills Summer, which will move on from Nashville to tour nationally before settling into New York for an extended run. Auditions will be held at Baymont Inn & Suites, 5612 Lenox Ave in Nashville. Casting calls for principal players and ensemble will begin at 10:00 a.m.
My Catskills Summer is a major musical which will premiere at the Bernard F. Pargh Theatre in the Gordon Jewish Community Center. Cathy Sanborn Street will direct and Rollie Mains is the show’s musical director. Barry Williams, who played the oldest son, Greg, on television’s, The Brady Bunch, has agreed to appear in the Nashville run of the show.
Please bring a headshot and resume and prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo song and one-minute comedic monologue. Be prepared to sight-read a short piece of music. An accompanist will be provided. The principal roles will receive a small stipend. There will not be pay for the ensemble but there will be an opportunity to tour with the show after the Nashville engagement and New York open-ended run in the fall of 2010.

Jake Lomansky: (early to mid 20’s), cocky, ambitious, tenor
Oscar Washington (mid 20’s to early 30’s) African American hotel cook, tenor with falsetto
Benny Loman: (early to late 40’s) Catskill entertainer, comic, baritone
