Nashville Repertory Theatre announces Broadway star and former Tennessee Titan Eddie George as this year's Honorary Chair for Nashville Rep's Broadway Brunch, Sunday, May 7, at City Winery. After a national tour of Chicago and his successful run as Walter Lee Younger in A Raisin in the Sun, George will help support the Rep in its annual fundraiser.

Broadway Brunch features a Broadway Revue performed by Nashville Rep and an exciting live auction led by professional auctioneer Trey Morris which includes "Conversations by George." This unique experience entails discussion and dinner prepared by George's sister Leslie, a culinary chef, while she leads an instructional evening in the kitchen. Also among the auction items are a weeklong Virgin Islands vacation, tickets to the 2017 CMA's, and an in-home Burmese Dinner for six.

Broadway Brunch sponsors to date are Publix Super Market Charities, Barefoot Wine, Caterpillar Financial, First Tennessee Foundation, City Winery, HCA/TriStar Health, Jive!-A Printworks Studio, Pinnacle Financial Services, 501(c)inema, and Oshi Flowers.

The Broadway Brunch committee includes John Lasiter, Chair, and committee members Rob Turner, Jay Jones, Sandy Spitz, Bonnie Dow, Mike Smith, and Marjean Coddon.

Funds raised at Broadway Brunch will help support Nashville Rep's professional productions, public staged readings, Ingram New Works Project and Festival, and The Rep's educational and enrichment programs for students and the community.

Space is limited. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit at BroadwayBrunch.org.
