Murder, music and fun? Sounds like the perfect spring recipe for Street Theatre Company's newest murder mystery musical event - Murder: It's No Day at the Beach - set for Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14 at Nashville's Tulip Street Methodist Church, 522 Russell Street.
Audiences will find themselves transported to a 1960s island beach party complete with a picnic lunch, a volleyball game and murderous intentions. There are the three popular Phi Beta Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority sisters, the wealthy Hughes, and JJ, who just wants to "give peace a chance." They may all make to the island but one won't make it off. Audience members should be prepared for a unique interactive musical murder mystery where following the clues will give you the chance to vote for who they think "dunnit."
Local stage favorites Mike Baum, Ben Gregory, Erica Haines, Laura Thomas Sonn and Heather Trabucco star.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with dinner and show at 7 p.m. Dinner includes barbecued chicken with cole slaw, potato salad, bread, dessert, and iced tea.
Tickets are $20 each. Tables of 10 may be purchased for $180. Sseating is limited. Call (615) 554-7414 or visit www.streettheatrecompany.org for further details..
