Murfreesboro's Center for the Arts invites supporters to "boogie on down" to dance the night away at their Bash Fever! gala - the seventh annual event will be held Saturday, March 19 - as those gathered continue their revelry this year set to a disco theme.
"We are extremely excited about this year's 70's disco theme, "said Patience Long, executive director of CFTA. "The Bash is one the events many of our patrons look forward to attending each year because they know they are guaranteed an exciting evening of delicious food, dancing to a wonderful band, and fun with friends. It's a great way to support the arts while partying the night away."
Party-goers will be able to look through silent auction items up for bid and participate in a live auction that will include vacation destinations, an original piece of furniture by Dayton Brown and a signed Kenny Chesney guitar.
Maple Street Grill will supply the dinner for the evening, and popular dance band Mosaic Rhythm will have everyone grooving the night away.
Proceeds from the event help support the mission and upkeep of The Center for the Arts, which, in addition to producing eleven theatrical productions a year, showcases the work of local artists in its gallery, offers a wide range of youth programming, and partners with several local arts oriented non-profits.
Tickets to the Bash are $100 each and includes food from Maple Street Grill, beverages, as well as the entertainment. Tickets are available in advance at The Center for the Arts, 110 W. College St., Murfreesboro; by calling The Center at (615) 904-2787 or online at www.boroarts.org.
The center, a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, is supported in part by generous grants provided by the City of Murfreesboro, the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
