Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will perform at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's annual "Fest de Ville Gala" on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Originating the role of Glinda the Good Witch in the Broadway blockbuster Wicked, she received an Emmy Award for her work in the series "Pushing Daisies," also appearing on television in Glee and The West Wing. This fall Chenoweth will star in the new television show, Good Christian Belles. She received a Tony Award for her role as Sally in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. In addition to a long list of other impressive credits in theatre, film and television, she has produced four albums, including Some Lessons Learned, to be released on September 13, and appeared in concert nationwide.
The 2011 Fest de Ville Gala will be held in the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's War Memorial Auditorium. This year's benefit begins at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner, award presentation, and entertainment through 9 p.m.
