Beginning Spring 2011, Junior League of Nashville will be taking over the Giving Card Fundraiser originally brought to the Middle Tennessee area by Centerstone. When Centerstone decided to discontinue the Giving Card Fundraiser this Fall, The League knew what a great opportunity it would be for its members.

The cards will be sold for $60 at participating retailers, online and through the Junior League membership and can be used for both Spring and Holiday 2011 shopping periods. Retailers agree to offer a 20% discount to cardholders during the pre-determined shopping dates. Giving Card sponsors underwrite all administrative and production costs of the promotion so that 100% of the sales benefit the mission of the Junior League of Nashville.

Junior League of Nashville plans to reach out to the more than 100 retailers and restaurants that participated in the last few years, as well as many new ones.

The Junior League of Nashville (JLN) was founded in 1922 by a group of visionary women committed to serving the Nashville community in a volunteer capacity. Today, JLN has nearly1,800 members and remains committed to developing the potential of women as leaders and grassroots volunteers in charitable causes that improve the lives of women, children, and families. Located at 2202 Crestmoor Road in Nashville, the Junior League of Nashville consistently ranks as one of the 15th largest Leagues internationally. To learn more, please visit. www.jlnashville.org.
