IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE Comes To The Renaissance Center Stage Image

The Renaissance Players are proud to present a Christmas favorite for your family to enjoy. It's A Wonderful Life, directed by Emma Jordan, runs from November 30 - December 9 at the Renaissance Center in Dickson, TN.

George Bailey dreams of a life of adventure and fortune, but his priorities change when family tragedy takes a front seat. He forgoes college to take over the family business and keep the citizens of Bedford Falls going during the Great Depression. George marries the love of his life Mary and grows a wonderful family. His life seems to be getting better and better to everyone but George. When his Uncle Billy misplaces a large bank deposit for the family business, George takes full responsibility, and believes he's worth more to his family dead than alive. His guardian angel, Clarence, is sent to save him from hopelessness on Christmas Eve. Clarence shows George what the world would be like if he had never been born and reminds George that he does, in fact, have a wonderful life.

"I'm so excited to return to the Renaissance Players to direct this timeless classic. Guaranteed to get your entire family in the holiday spirit, our local actors are doing a marvelous job of bringing this story and message to life", says director Emma Jordan who has been a member of the Renaissance Players since she was eleven years old. "Come see our show, and you will be reminded that the ups and downs and twists and turns of life are what make it so wonderful."
