Bring 16 bars of a musical theatre song sheet music (as an accompanist will be provided) & book of audition songs, if you have one. Some people may be asked to come back to dance later in the day, so dance shoes may be needed. Additional callbacks throughout the day to read for certain roles may also be

Seeking men and women over 18 who are excellent singer and actors who move well to play
Principals and Ensemble (breakdown listed below) and seeking female children 8-13 under 4'6".
PRINCIPAL ADULT ROLES: [THE GRINCH] Male, mid 30s-40s, any ethnicity. A beastly, charming curmudgeon. Scary but with a heart underneath.Needs a strong, booming baritone singing voice. Over 5'11".
[OLD MAX] Male, 40s-60s, any ethnicity. A trustworthy, benevolent narrator who is inspired by nostalgia. Needs a strong bass-baritone singing voice. Sings "You're a Mean One."
[YOUNG MAX] Male, 18-20s, any ethnicity. He is a puppy. Very energetic, very athletic, lots of stamina, positive, and fun. Our best friend. Needs a strong, bright tenor singing voice. 5'8" and under.
[PAPA WHO] Male, 30s-early 40s, any ethnicity. Needs a strong high baritone or tenor singing voice. Should not be shorter than 5'10".
[MAMA WHO] Female, 30s-early 40s, any ethnicity.. Needs a strong, warm mix-soprano singing voice with chest range as well. Should not be shorter than 5'6".
[GRANDPA WHO] Male, mid 40s-50s, any ethnicity. The eldest of the family, comically hard of hearing. Needs a strong character baritone singing voice.
[GRANDMA WHO] Female, mid 30s-50s, any ethnicity. Strong singing voice (could be mezzo or first soprano).
[ENSEMBLE ADULTS] Males and Females, 20s-50s, to cover principal roles. [ADULTS TO PLAY CHILDREN] Seeking young adults 18-29, who are under 63" (5 feet 3 inches) and can play ENSEMBLE children, any ethnicity. Energetic, charismatic, athletic. Need to be experienced dancers who are able to sing well and pick up dance quickly. The more physically versatile and acrobatic, the better. Need strong singing voices of all types.
CHILDREN'S ROLES Little Girls 9-13 for the roles of Cindy Lou Who and ensemble role of Annie Who [CINDY-LOU WHO] Female, 9-12, any ethnicity. No taller than 4' 2" (50 inches) Energetic, charismatic, sweet. Needs to be able to pick up dance quickly. Needs a beautiful singing voice with range. Sings the "showpiece" ballad of the show.
PRINCIPAL [ANNIE WHO/CINDY-LOU COVER] Female 10-13, no taller than 4' 6" (54 inches), any ethnicity. Energetic, charismatic, sweet. Needs to be able to pick up dance quickly. Needs a beautiful singing voice with range. ENSEMBLE (and 2nd understudy for Cindy Lou)
