Dickson's Gaslight Dinner Theatre is transformed into Armadillo Acres trailer park for the company's newest offering, The Great American Trailer Park, running July 5-30.

Written by David Nehls and Betsy Kelso, The New York Sun described it as being like "South Park meets Desperate Housewives." The Great American Trailer Park  is a two-act musical that was first performed in the first annual New York Music Theater Festival in 2004, opened off-Broadway at Bows at Dodger Stages in 2005 and hit the road with a national touring company in 2006.

There's a new tenant at Armadillo Acres - and she's wreaking havoc all over Florida's most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr.Phil-loving agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband, the storms begin to brew. Directed and choreographed by Bryan J. Wlas, with music direction by Nathan W. Brown, the musical stars Jama Bowen, Chris Egging, Emma Jordan, Alan Lee, Jenny Norris-Light, Paula Makar and Margie Mills.

Dinner shows begin at 6:30 p.m., with curtain at 7:30 p.m.; for matinees, the buffet open s at noon, with curtain at 1 p.m. The Gaslight Dinner Theatre is located at The Renaissance Center, 855 Highway 46 South in Dickson. Tickets are $37 each for dinner shows, $27 for matinees. All tickets include the show and meal.
