First Night Award-winning Boiler Room Theatre, recognized as Tennessee's Outstanding Theatre Company in 2011, will stage a full production of Les Miserables with a limited run in August, 2013. The iconic musical will be presented as a special three-performance benefit for the non-profit Boiler Room Theatre tonight, August 8-10.

Considered by many to be the most popular musical in the world, Les Miserables tells the story of former convict Jean Valjean's quest for redemption while being hounded by the relentless inspector Javert in 19th century France. Set against the backdrop of revolutionary times in France, LES MISERABLES features a score that includes "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home" and "One Day More."

For this large-scale benefit, the Boiler Room Theatre is venturing outside of its familiar 120-seat performance space and will stage Les Miserables in the much larger Liberty Hall venue, also located at The Factory at Franklin. Continuing its mission to foster and promote local talent, the entire 20-plus member cast will consist of Nashville-area residents with auditions slated to be held in early March.

Performances of Les Miserableswill be held at 8 p.m. tonight, August 8-10 at Liberty Hall in The Factory at Franklin. Ticket prices will range from $29 to $99 and are available by calling the BRT box office at (615) 794-7744 or ordered online in 2013 at www.boilerroomtheatre.com.
