Edward Allan Baker's Rosemary With Ginger - starring Laura Holloway and Tarama Todres - is the next production of the Nashville-based Chicago Talking Machine , running September 23-25 and September 30-October 2 at the Centennial Black Box Theater, 211 27th Avenue North.

Tickets ($10) are now on sale at www.RosemaryWithGinger.brownpapertickets.com. Curtain for all performances is at 8 p.m. (CT).

In Baker's play, two sisters meet up at the now-shuttered Peter Pan Diner to make plans to take care of their mother, but their own history and relationship keep getting in the way. As they reveal their personal struggles and bait and attack each other, they come to find a common bond pulling them together.

About the creative team:

Edward Allan Baker (Playwright) is a NYC playwright, his One Act Plays produced all over U.S., Canada, and Europe, most notable among others include North Of Providence, Dolores, Rosemary With Ginger, Face Divided, A Dead Man's Apartment, Up, Down, Strange, Charmed, Beauty and Truth, Mafia On Prozac, and Lila On The Wall. Off-Broadway successes include full-length plays, Prairie Avenue, American Storage, and The Framer. A screenwriter as well as being a faculty member at Pace University/Actors Studio Drama School, and a recipient of "The 25th Anniversary Award For Theatrical Excellence" by The Ensemble Studio Theatre Of New York. He is a member of The Dramatists Guild.

Laura Holloway (Ginger) is an actor, teacher, director and producer who recently relocated to Nashville from Los Angeles. She teaches Scene Study at the Centennial Black Box. Laura studied acting at The Atlantic Acting School and HB Studio (both in NYC), as well as in Yale Drama teacher Gregory Berger-Sobeck's master class in Los Angeles. She also studied extensively with Scott Zigler (the Artistic Director of ART at Harvard) as well as with David Mamet, Felicity Huffman, Austin Pendleton, and Clark Gregg, to name a few. Laura has studied several techniques including Practical Aesthetics, Meisner, and Hagen. She has worked in film, television, and on stage in both NY and LA. Laura is a member of the IAMA Theatre Company in Los Angeles.

Tamara Todres (Rosemary) is an actor and producer who moved to Nashville from Chicago, where she worked with Red Tape Theatre, CIC, the side project, and others. Recent credits include The Strange (Woman), Slasher (Frances), Boeing Boeing (Bertha), Into The Woods (Jack's Mother). She studied Meisner at Black Box Studio in Chicago. Since moving to Nashville, Tamara has worked with Verge Theatre Company, produced the Chicago Talking Machine Co's production of The Strange, and studies at Nashville Acting Studio.
