The Blue Moon Theatre Company located in beautiful Downtown Johnson City is proud to continue it''s run of the hilarious Broadway style comedy - ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING by V. Cate, and Duke Ernsberger. This kingly comedy plays select Friday's and Saturdays now through September 22nd live on stage!

It's December 20, 1970 and Elvis Presley has disappeared. No one, not even his wily manger, "The colonel," knows of his whereabouts. But the Colonel is all shook up because he has racked up a secret debt - and with the King himself missing, the only way to pay if off is to find an Elvis impersonator within 24 hours. Hi-jinks ensue as the Colonel take desperate measures to replace a man who is irreplaceable. This riotously funny story will have you wanting more and keep you guessing until the end.

The production features the talents of Larry Bunton, Todd Jones, Johnny Archer, Linda Wakely and Vianna Isbister. Also featuring Stage Management by Tyler Mitchell, scenic painting by Marci Tolley- Berkhime, Sound and poster design by Todd Jones. Directed by Edward Breese.

The Blue Moon Theatre has been delighting Johnson City audiences since 2008 presenting an intimate theatre experience in the heart of Downtown. The Blue Moon produces theatre year round including comedies, dramas, musicals, children's theatre and original Murder Mysteries!

The Blue Moon now offers appetizer and dessert options. You can order a specialty dessert or appetizer when you reserve your tickets (or feel free to order on the night you arrive). The Blue Moon offers a veggie or chicken spring roll appetizer or a serving of Elvis Apple Cobbler served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a caramel drizzle.* made fresh and served at intermission!!

The doors open at 7:30pm on select Friday and Saturday evenings and the performance begins at 8pm. There will also be one Sunday matinee performance at 2pm on September 16th Candy, soda, and snacks are available for purchase in the lobby..
