Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type opens April 3 at Nashville Children's Theatre, running through May 13, featuring an all-star cast of Rona Carter, Vanessa Callahan, Amanda Card-McCoy and Samuel Whited, under the direction of Scot Copeland.
In Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type, Farmer Brown's discontent cows find an old typewriter in the barn; and next thing you know, click-clack-moo, clickety-clack-moo, Farmer Brown gets a typewritten note: "Dear Farmer Brown, The barn is very cold at night. We'd like some electric blankets. Sincerely, The Cows."
When Farmer Brown refuses to comply, the cows go on strike, and it's no more milk! With the help of a neutral duck arbitrator, everything gets back on track.. kind of.
Based on the book of the same name by Doreen Cronin with familiar illustrations by Betsy Lewin, the script was adapted by James E. Grote. This barnyard battle features songs with music by George Howe and lyrics by George Howe and James E. Grote. The play is recommended for all ages.
