Before you know it, all of these talented college and high school seniors are going to be graduating and heading off to lord-knows-where! We're feeling a bit sentimental, truth be told, but until such time comes, we're going to continue our end-of-the-academic revelry and tomorrow, Lipscomb University Theater senior Hunter Martin will take over our Twitter account!
Following in a long line of dramatic figures who've seized control of @BWW_Nashville this week - it all started when playwright Tori Keenan-Zelt took over last Friday to take us on a "Playwright's Adventure in Music City" (which we have deduced was just a bald-faced attempt to get some inspiration for a new play!), then on Monday, Belmont University Musical Theatre senior Katie Bays took us on her first trip to New York City for the BUMT Senior Showcase, followed Tuesday by Ryan Bowie and company from The Roxy Regional Theatre's production of [title of show] and on Wednesday, the lovely and talented Molly Dobbs took us behind the scenes for the entire day leading up to the first dress rehearsal of Cumberland County Playhouse's Million Dollar Quartet! Clearly, it's been a week of firsts for BWW_Nashville and spending Thursday with Hunter from Lipscomb (we think that's what Stephen Colbert should call him when he hires him to do special reports on The Late Show) is only going to usher in some new experiences for us all.
Hunter will be sharing with us the experiences of his own Senior Showcase at Lipscomb, during which he and his talented classmates will be featured in special performances - it happens Saturday night on the Green Hills campus - and it will be a way for the talented group of actors to bid farewell to the training ground they've called home for the past four years. We hate to see them go, believe me, but we can't wait to see what comes next for this cadre of impressive talents!
Be sure to follow Hunter and his pals on Thursday, April 27, on Twitter @BWW_Nashville!
