What is described as "an incredible slice of Broadway" comes to Franklin for the sixth annual Broadway at Bethlehem – Divas & Desserts benefit on Saturday, February 18 with an array of talented performers including Broadwayworld.com award-winning actors Dietz Osborne and Martha Wilkinson co-hosting and featuring singers Megan Murphy Chambers, Melodie Madden Adams, Laura Matula, Kandace Williams and Maggie McNulty at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Performing Arts Center, 2419 Bethlehem Loop Road in Franklin, Tennessee.

The star-studded evening will help underwrite the Bethlehem Players' April 13-28 second world premiere production Southern Fried Nuptials, the sequel to the hilarious Southern Fried Funeral. In addition, it will help the Bethlehem Players lighting system renovation at the performing arts space.

The event, with $15 general admission tickets, includes a dessert extravaganza with a signature "Wedding Cake Ice Cream" custom for the event by Nashville favorite Pied Piper Creamery.

"Osborne and Wilkinson are long-time Nashville area theatre favorites and a hilarious comedic duo. Their participation will make this evening more remarkable for our audience along with the most fantastic night of Broadway music available in our own backyard," said Harry Robinson, Bethlehem UMC Director of Arts and Music.

The evening, which is a sell-out each year, begins at 6 p.m. with a dessert extravaganza, an exciting silent auction including original art created custom for the event by Ron York, Shelley McCoy and Bella Tucker Decorative Finishes, a TPAC evening of Mary Poppins with theatre critic Jeffrey Ellis and much more with a wonderful night of Broadway hits from the hugely popular Addams Family to Annie Get Your Gun.

The $15 general admission tickets for the event can be obtained at drama@bethlehemumc.com or (615) 791-6456, ext. 2. The Bethlehem Players, a community theatre outreach program of Bethlehem UMC, are celebrating their fifteenth year of community theatre excellence.
